It would be nice to have the possibility to keep the admin in default culture and not in currently selected culture on front.

I don't see much value in this. Could you clarify please?

A contributor can administrate a front site with different translations of contents and he could use a culture picker to switch on the details of a content to check the translations.

E.g : He is French and manage translation of a French content in English.

He switches in English, Click on 'Edit' to modifiy the translation => the current culture (English, applied when he switched) is also used in admin but it would be easier for him that the admin stays in French while editing the English translation.

So it would be interesting to separate the cookie used for the Front site and a cookie used in admin and to have the possibility to put a specific culture picker inside the Admin

OR/AND : to add a configuration Setting to allow to set the culture used in admin by default.

Ok, sounds reasonable.

Would you have a good solution to propose for this discussion in Orchard Forum : http://orchard.codeplex.com/discussions/267530 ?
